Commercial space is a precious commodity. Pallet rack and rack systems take full advantage of vertical storage space in your warehouse, manufacturing plant or storage room. At Darr we offer new and used in-stock cantilever racks, push back racks, drive in racks and selective racks. When square footage is lacking, we can work with you to choose which rack system to pair with your application.
Selective Pallet Racking System
Selective pallet racking systems are the most common type of pallet racks. Forklift operators can pick up and select any pallet they want without disturbing the other pallets. This system works well for warehouses with low turnover and multiple stock keeping units (SKU). This type of pallet racking has low density storage and have vertical limitations. Selective pallet racking is the cheapest option and can easily be changed.
Pallet Flow Pallet Racking System
Pallet flow pallet racking use gravity and incline racks to store and move product. Pallet flow pallet racking work well in high volume applications where the product needs to move quickly like food or beverages. Inventory is easy to access and the flow-based retrieval works well for perishable items. They are more expensive, and they need ongoing maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.
Drive In Pallet Racking System
Drive in pallet racking has one way in and out, which works well for high density storage of similar items. Drive in also is a solution for storing fragile items in narrow aisles.
Cantilever Pallet Racking System
Cantilever pallet racking can hold just about anything since they are built to hold awkwardly shaped items like lumber and carpet. They can be expensive and require more space, but they can fit items that do not fit on standard racks.
