Robert Engstrom, President
Robert is the great-grandson of Darr Equipment Co founder, Hal Darr, and represents the company’s fourth generation of family leadership. He joined Darr on a full-time basis in 1999. Over the years, Robert has held numerous positions, including a four-year term as a senior manager for Emeco International, a sister equipment company in Australia. Robert became President of Darr Equipment Co in 2012 where he currently serves. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Robert is an active member of Park Cities Presbyterian Church, the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, and the Young Presidents Organization. Robert and his wife Alyson reside in Dallas, TX with their three girls.
Tab Slaughter, Chief Operating Officer
Tab joined Darr Equipment Co in February 2018 as Chief Marketing & Development Officer. In January 2019, he was named Chief Sales and Operations Officer for Darr North, following a reorganization designed to help better serve our customers and grow our business regionally. He was named Chief Operating Officer in December of 2019. As COO, Tab is responsible for sales and operations of all Darr locations.
Prior to joining Darr, Tab enjoyed a successful 13 year career in the commercial insurance brokerage and consulting industry. Most recently, he was an SVP with Wells Fargo Insurance, where Darr was one of his long-term customers.
Tab also enjoys a second career as a football official in the National Football League. Prior to joining the NFL in 2020, he worked as an umpire in the Big 12 Conference for seven years.
Tab received a Bachelor of Business in Sports Managing from Arkansas State University where he played on the football team. He and his wife Erika reside in McKinney, TX with their four children.
Jack Camiolo, Chief Financial Officer
Jack joined Darr Equipment Co as its Chief Financial Officer in 2015 less than a year after Darr’s acquisition of Adobe Equipment. Prior to the role, Jack was part of Darr Equipment’s banking team with JPMorgan Chase. There he managed a team of bankers focused on providing commercial banking services to middle market companies in the Dallas metropolitan area. His career includes 12 years with JPMorgan Chase in various roles in its investment and commercial bank. Before joining the bank, Jack served as an Officer in the U.S. Army. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He and his three children reside in Dallas, Texas.
